I was very impressed when I opened the box. The meter looks just like the one used at the doctor's office. It's ready to use right out of the box, complete with batteries and a carrying case with a lanyard. The case comes with a belt loop but I prefer the lanyard. This is a great tool to use to keep track of your health stats when working out and for other health reasons. It's also great to have handy when one has elderly family members to care for. It would have been great if there was a booklet explaining what levels are optimum but there's such a broad spectrum of what's normal for each individual, probably too hard to narrow that down like with blood pressure ranges. I will Google health sites to learn more about what the healthiest oxygen levels are and to find out more about what these measurements mean. I have been using it on and off for the past couple of days and the battery level already went down a notch. Perhaps it's just the brand of batteries, when they run down completely I will be replacing them with rechargeable batteries. I have tested this on myself at different times, when relaxed, when stressed out and tired. I have noticed a change in the read out. Which leads me to have confidence in its accuracy.
Lately I have been trying to see if my fit bit has been accurate about my heart rate. So I decided to give this a try. This is like a hospital-grade one or a doctor's office. The only thing I would suggest is to make sure that your fingers are dry so do not use it after you do dishes it kind of Threw It Off. I would recommend this to anyone or the elderly. As I stated before it's very easy to use I also to tend to think that nail polish kind of throws it off so I would make sure you're not wearing nail polish as well.
